Betting odds: Playoff edition MIAvsBUF
The Dolphins head to Orchard Park to take on their division foe Buffalo Bills. This is Miami’s first play off appearance since 2016 and similar to 2016 Miami will have a backup quarterback behind center. A difficult match up for Miami as they take a Super Bowl favorite.
The Dolphins’s game plan for this week will be identical to last weeks match up against the Jets. Run the ball, play good defense.
Jeff Wilson over 14.5 rushing attempts — -109
With Tua out the past two weeks Wilson has 15 and 16 rushing attempts. Wilson has split carries with Raheem Mostert who is out this week with a thumb injury. The team keeps it close long enough to not abandon the run.
Stefon Diggs over 6.5 receptions — -114
The Dolphins give up the third most yards per game through the air on the road (253.9). Miami’s best corner Xavien Howard dealing with multiple injuries this year has not been himself, while their other corner (Kader Kohou) is an undrafted rookie. Overall Diggs has hit the over in 9 of 17 games, including both games against Miami.
Josh Allen over 22.5 completions — -115
Going back to Miami’s pass defense stats, but also the fact their run defense is fairly stout. Allowing the fourth fewest yards per game. The Dolphins also rank 31st in giving up the most completions per game at 24.5.
