Week 13 prop bets: MIAvsSF
One of the premiere games this week as your Miami Dolphins (8-3) take on the San Francisco 49ers (7-4). The game is a measuring stick for Miami. A win not only keeps the team in first place within the division, but a win on the road against a good team would be huge.
With the injuries at both tackle positions and playing against a very good defense I expect Miami’s play calling on offense to be conservative for McDaniel standards. Both McDaniel and Tua mentioned changing the script of the offense against the Texans last week after Terron Armstead went down. Unless the game gets out of hand with turnovers I expect this game to be low scoring and the Dolphins defense steps up. Not sure if it will be enough for win though.
Anyway here are few bets for the game:
Trent Sherfield over 23.5 receiving yards — -114
The over for Sherfield has been solid. He consistently gets a high volume of snaps and has been reliable for a big play at least once a game. Sherfield has at least 25 yards receiving in the last 5 games. A tougher match up for sure but I still think this is a lock.
Christian McCaffrey under 49.5 rushing yards — -114
McCaffrey has only hit over once in his 5 games since joining the niners. Against top running backs the Dolphins have been really good. Besides giving up a 53 yards run to the Vikings the have held Cook, Chubb, Mixon, and Harris in check. Unless McCacffrey breaks one this will be under.
Miami Dolphins over 1.5 field goals — -110
I think Miami will be able to move the ball enough while getting stymied in the red zone. You do have to be concerned with Dolphins kicker Jason Sanders missing a kick, but I do think the team attempts at least two field goals.
